I was introduced into dentistry when I married Dr. Balch. I am a nurse, and my medical background has been useful in learning about the dental industry. I find it very rewarding to be an active part of our dental office. I enjoy building relationships with patients and getting to know them as they come into the office. I primarily work in the front office, so it is nice to meet and greet patients as they come in the front door. Everyone works together as a team to provide the highest level of care for our patients.
My hobbies include exercising, going to the movies, and I love to travel and see new places. I love spending time with my family. I am involved in our church and enjoy teaching in the children’s classes.
I was introduced into the dental industry first through my brother, Dr Balch. After graduating Carson-Newman University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, I managed and co-owned a furniture manufacturing company. While having a conversation with my brother in spring of 2014 about his office, we decided that it was time for me to relocate from home (East TN) to Nashville, TN and manage his practice. There are so many things that I enjoy most about my days at the office. I enjoy greeting and meeting our established and new patients and learning more about the dental industry. Many relationships have been established with other offices, and I enjoy working together with them to provide the highest level of care to our patients.
When not at the office you can find me laying by the pool, taking a walk or hike at one of the many parks that Nashville and Brentwood have to offer, hanging with my friends experiencing the Nashville scene or traveling back to East TN to visit my family and friends.
My guidance counselor is the one whom I can thank for directing me into dental hygiene school. Dr. Balch always provides a new learning experience into our practice. Our staff works well together, and I feel we are a great team.
I enjoy being outside, gardening, walking in the park, and exercising.
I followed in my mother’s footsteps. I spent many summers working with her in the office. I found a love for teeth! I love coming into work knowing I get to help create beautiful smiles and help people become the best version of themselves.
My hobbies include being the best “cat mom” there is. I also love to hunt, fish, kayak, hike. I love being outdoors.
I worked in a dental office while in college at Tennessee Technological University while obtaining my Biology degree. While working in the dental office, I really liked the laboratory side of dentistry, so I decided to pursue a career as a Dental Laboratory Technician. I enjoy working with my hands and being creative in designing dental restorations. I want to continue to learn and grow in my career.
I enjoy exercising, target shooting, and traveling.
